This new Italian viola, made in 2024 by Officina Mauro Lucini of Cremona, combines the master’s decades of experience with the most modern violin-making techniques. The fascinating yellow-orange-gold varnish highlights the fine spruce top and two-piece flamed maple back, allowing the sound to express its full tonal potential. The slim handle and scale length, 36.6 cm, are designed to provide excellent comfort of use and a smooth playing experience. The viola sound is bright and mature, with a well-developed volume in the low ranges, characterized by a clarity and brilliance that meet the needs of modern violists.
